Beginning Basic Steps "Classical Egyptian"

*While practicing all movements in a mirror and be sure to be in your proper
dance posture!  It takes time to learn the right posture, and your basic steps, Don't
Rush!  Learning them correct is so important and you can NEVER practice your
basic too much.

(Dance Posture is knees slightly bent, pelvic area tucked, rib cage lifted
& arms up and out, with a slight curve.)

Practicing your basic steps will help
you to learn  the art of Middle Eastern Dance.
Doing them in combinations of 8's will help build muscle memory.
And from your muscle memory they get easier with time.
Basic steps are the beginning for easy practice routines.
Once you  have mastered the basics you will
"Dance Like Nobody's Watching".
Intermediate Steps:

These steps are for those who have mastered the "basics" &
want to move on to the next level.  That will also include art of
layering the movements.

Tribal Steps:

This style of dance is very unique, it is usually done with
a group of dancers.  It has various floor placements &
formations.  There will be a dance leader; it can alternate
from dancer to dancer or remain the same.  It works on a
follow the leader principle.  What makes the dance look
so beautiful is the uniform disciplined movements of the
dancers.

Most of the movements come from basic "belly dance"
with the exception of moves that are just seen in Tribal
dances.  Tribal style a combination of moves from all
forms of belly dance.
